Preview: Webster’s Dictionary defines sanctification as: The state of growing in divine grace as a result of Christian commitment after baptism.


Scripture Reading: Romans 6:1-16.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 2:10.

1. We are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9) for what purpose? Ephesians 2:10, Romans 8:29 (last part), & II Timothy 2:21.
2. Why does He want us to be conformed to the image of His Son? Romans 8:17 & Romans 8:29 (last part).
3. Is there any need to live a righteous life if Jesus’ blood will wash away our sin? Romans 6:1-2 & Romans 12:1.
4. Does being under grace mean that we don’t have to worry about sin? Romans 6:12-15.
5. How long should we continue to grow? Ephesians 4:13.
6. Did the Apostle Paul ever reach the place where he did not need to grow anymore? Philippians 3:12-14.
7. How is this growth accomplished? Romans 8:8-13 & Ephesians 3:16-19.
8. What are some of the things it will cause us to lay aside? Colossians 3:5-9.
9. What are some things that we should put on? Colossians 3:12-17.
10. What should be our final goal? Ephesians 1:4, Ephesians 5:27, & Colossians 1:22. Why? I Peter 1:15-16.
