Why We Need Him: Part 1 of 2

Preview: A lesson regarding what the Lord has done and continues to do for us. This is the first part of a two-part lesson on this subject.


Scripture Reading: Psalm 121:1-8.

Memory Verse: I John 3:5.

1. Why do we need the Lord? Acts 17:28.
2. How are we counted before God? Isaiah 40:15.
3. What is our condition without God? Romans 7:24.
4. Can we be complete in Jesus? Colossians 2:9-10.
5. To what is our righteousness likened? Isaiah 64:6.
6. From what source does true righteousness come? Isaiah 45:24.
7. What can we do without the Lord? John 15:5.
8. What can we do through Christ? Philippians 4:13.
9. Why should everyone know and have Jesus as their Savior? Acts 4:12.
Note: We who know God should continually be thanking and praising Him for what He is and what He means to us. If there was no God, there would be nothing because He is the maker of everything. There is not a thing in this life for which we don’t need Him. It is only through His kindness and mercy that we live, move, and exist. When we fully realize our dependence upon Him for everything, we can see just how good God is to us.
