Preview: This is the second part of a two-part lesson on this subject.

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 62:1-9.

Memory Verse: Isaiah 62:10.

1. Is Christ the Church? Colossians 1:18.
2. In whose name is the Church? Romans 16:16.
3. What should we do with those who cause division? Romans 16:17.
4. Who adds men to the Church? Acts 2:47.
5. Has God placed the members in the body? Why? I Corinthians 12:18.
6. Is there any other name by which man can be saved? Explain. Acts 4:12.
7. Who do you belong to after you are added to the body? I Corinthians 12:27.
8. Should we hallow and reverence His name? In what way? Matthew 6:9.
9. What will be our reward if we pray in the name of Christ? John 14:13-14.
10. Is the Church espoused (engaged) to Christ? Explain. II Corinthians 11:2.
Note: We should surely rejoice over the new name Christ and Jesus. Israel received Him not. Israel hated this name. Israel martyred those who loved the name of Christ, but we should exalt His name to the housetops. Great emphasis should be placed on His name.
11. What happens to those who call upon the name of the Lord? Romans 10:13.
12. Will the Church, His bride, make herself ready for this marriage of the Lamb? Discuss. Revelation 19:7.
13. What garments will the saints wear? Revelation 19:8.
14. What are the true sayings of God? Revelation 19:9.
Note: His name has been kept a secret for many years in many places. They will use the Word of God, but the name of Christ they are afraid will offend. Let us rejoice and give reverence to His name. It is above all names.
15. Does Christ have the keys of hell and death? What does this mean? Revelation 1:18.
Note: Over 2,000 years ago the name of Christ was first made known. Christ said,"I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Many became offended and fell by the wayside. Fellow students, be careful to be kept in His name, and exalt it to the highest; and rejoice that you are a member of the Body of Christ. (I Corinthians 12:27).
