The Seven Last Plagues

Preview: A closer examination of John’s prophetic, end times vision focusing on the seven plagues to be unleashed on mankind at the time of the end.


Scripture Reading: Revelation 15:1-8.

Memory Verse: Revelation 22:11.

1. Describe the sign John saw. Revelation 15:1-4.
2. What song will the 144,000 sing? Revelation 14:3 & Exodus 15:1-19.
3. What else did John see in this vision? Revelation 15:5-8.
4. What did John hear? Revelation 16:1.
5. Consider the first five plagues. Revelation 16:2-11.
Note: During the plagues, though they may show outward “repentance,” men will not truly repent of their sins, because the decree will have already gone forth: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still… and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still.”
6. Consider the sixth and seventh plagues. Revelation 16:12-16.
Note: During the sixth plague, Babylon, the great system of apostate religion, will lose its popular support, and then during the seventh plague God will destroy the wicked Babylon and all those who have sided with Satan.
7. At the darkest point in earth’s history God will deliver His people. Joel 3:15-16.
