Preview: The Bible has provided us with a complete blueprint of God’s will for us. We have no excuse not to be prepared at all times for His coming.

Scripture Reading: Matthew 25:1-12.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 5:17.

1. What warning did Paul give the brethren at Ephesus? Ephesians 5:14-16.
2. With what did Christ compare His coming? Matthew 25:1.
3. Were some of the virgins foolish? Why? Matthew 25:2-4.
4. What does the lamp signify? Proverbs 6:23.
5. What does the oil signify? I John 2:27.
Note: The foolish did not have the Holy Spirit (that which leads them) into all truth.
6. What will be the great message just before Christ comes? Matthew 25:6.
7. How will the last message affect the foolish? Matthew 25:8.
8. Will the foolish pray and will God answer their prayers? Matthew 25:11-12.
Note: There is much talk today about the coming of Christ and yet there is little preparation for this event. The wise are making themselves ready, but the foolish are giving no heed to the warning message.
9. What was Paul’s warning relative to the last days? II Thessalonians 2:3.
10. How did Paul describe the son of perdition? II Thessalonians 2:4.
11. Had Paul given this warning previously? II Thessalonians 2:5.
Note: God has always given people ample warning of danger. No one will have an excuse if they are not prepared when Christ comes. People know, or they can know, about the coming of Christ and what it takes to be ready to meet Him. The information is available for those who want it.
12. What will God do for those who ignore the truth? II Thessalonians 2:11-12.
13. What did John advise us to do regarding other prophets? I John 4:1.
Note: We must be careful what we believe. Many people are deceived by evil spirits which are not in harmony with the teachings of God’s Word nor the leading of the Holy Spirit.
