Preview: Each of God’s children has different talents. A missionary’s qualities are explored in this lesson.

1. What qualities are mentioned in the following passages and why are they important to the missionary? Acts 4:29 & II Corinthians 7:4.
2. Which other quality is it necessary for the missionary to possess? Deuteronomy 31:6, I Chronicles 28:20, & Psalm 27:14.
3. How may he obtain wisdom? How is it described? Proverbs 4:7, II Timothy 3:15 & James 1:5.
4. What part does wisdom play in his work? Proverbs 11:12, Proverbs 11:30, Proverbs 13:1 & Proverbs 13:10.
5. Why does he need patience and perseverance? Ephesians 6:18-20, II Corinthians 6:3-10, & Hebrews 6:10-12.
6. How should he respond to persecution? Matthew 5:44 & Luke 6:27.
7. How does Paul sum this all up? Galatians 5:22-23 & Ephesians 6:10-17.
Note: Without these essential qualities the missionary will fail before long. He will become so discouraged that he will give up. Remember without faith it is impossible to please God. Courage, wisdom, and patience not only help on the mission field but also enrich the life of a Christian.
