Note: The blessings of the Lord are for Christians to enjoy as the Christ-like life is a rewarding experience. Those who start out serving the Lord because of the blessings promised eventually fail and will not get the real joy and blessings because they started out with the wrong motive. We should serve God because we love Him. We should never take God’s blessings for granted nor feel He owes them to us; for it is only by His loving kindness and tender mercy that we can be forgiven and reclaimed from our lost estate. Jesus paid it all, and all to Him we owe.
