Our Heavenly Kingdom

Preview: Not all of our questions about Heaven are answered in the Bible, but we are given a glimpse of the glorious things to come.

1. Into whose control will all earthly kingdoms pass? Revelation 11:15.

2. What titles does Jesus have? Revelation 17:14.

3. Where will New Jerusalem be located? Revelation 21:2-3.

4. How is New Jerusalem described? Revelation 21:10-21.

Note: A furlong is about one eighth of a mile. The city is about 345 miles on each side. A cubit is approximately 18 inches, making the wall of New Jerusalem approximately 210 feet high. 

5. Will the redeemed have real, immortal bodies? Explain. Philippians 3:21, 1 Corinthians 15:51-54.

Note: Just as New Jerusalem is a real city coming down to a real planet, our immortal bodies will also be real.

6. What will these new, immortal bodies be immune to? Revelation 21:4, Isaiah 35:5-6.

7. Will we ever experience sorrow again? Or will sadness be done away with? Revelation 21:4-5.

8. What will we do in the new earth? Isaiah 65:21-22.

9. What will our relationship with God be? Revelation 21:2-4.

10. Why will we be able to see God in the new earth? Revelation 22:3-4.

11. With whom throughout time will we enjoy fellowship together? Matthew 8:11.

12. What will our relationship with God be throughout eternity? Revelation 21:3, 7; Revelation 22:3-4.

Note: When we are forgiven and released from all of our sins, we are made clean and are able to fellowship with God face to face as his true sons and daughters.

13. Will we continue to worship and praise God throughout all eternity? Isaiah 66:22-23.

14. How can we be a part of this wondrous new world? Revelation 21:27, Mark 16:16.
