Preview: A lesson on what God really wants from us.

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 3:1-10.

Memory Verse: Ecclesiastes 12:13.

1. What command did God give to Saul? I Samuel 15:1-3.
2. Did Saul obey God’s command? What did he do? I Samuel 15:1-9.
3. How did God regard Saul’s disobedience? How did it affect Samuel? I Samuel 15:10-11.
4. Who rebuked Saul for what he had done? I Samuel 15:12-19.
5. How did Saul attempt to give a reason for his transgression? I Samuel 15:20-21.

7. What sin did Saul confess? I Samuel 15:24-25.
8. Did his confession eliminate his punishment? I Samuel 15:26-27.
Note: Obedience is the highest praise man can give to God. We should always remember that God tells us exactly what He wants us to do, and expects us to do exactly what He tells us.
9. What did Solomon say about those who obey God? Proverbs 15:31.
10. What did the wise man say about those who disobey God? Proverbs 28:9.
11. What has God promised to those who are willing and obedient? Isaiah 1:16-19.
12. What has He promised to those who refuse and rebel? Isaiah 1:20.
Note: Adam and Eve led the human family into a cursed condition when they disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. The Devil told them that disobedience to God’s command would improve their wisdom and pleasure. He is leading mankind with the same lie today.
