If Any Lack

Preview: The lack of certain things will affect our salvation.


Scripture Reading: Mark 10:13-27.

Memory Verse: James 1:4.

Note: It is most encouraging to the children of God to know that our God is able and willing to supply those things we may have need of. Let us come boldly to the throne of grace with our shortcomings, and trust God to give us grace sufficient for all our needs, so that we can perfect that which lacks in our faith.
9. Did the young rich man accept the advice of Jesus on what he lacked? Matthew 19:16-22.
Note: As this rich young man was, so are many today who ask God what they lack and how to get it. Then, when God sends the answer through another’s instruction or advice, most often His ministers, they refuse to accept it. These have no real desire to know where they are lacking, and will do little to meet the requirements that it takes to acquire what is lacking in their lives. God’s children should not be like this, as God often reveals our need to another and answers that need through His children.
